Capital Legal Services, in cooperation with the Russian and Asian Alliance of Manufacturers and Businessmen (RASPP), participated in the first Russian-Chinese Forum “Big opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises” held in the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on April 21-22, 2015.

This Russian-Chinese forum became the largest event of its kind, aimed at supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises and united over 500 participants, mostly heads of businesses, development institutes, ministries and authorities of various levels from Russia and China.
During the Forum, Irina Onikienko, Partner at Capital Legal Services, attended a number of bilateral meetings focused on discussing the outlook for development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in areas which are of high priority for business, public co-funding of joint projects with small- and medium-sized business, and certain issues related to regulation of labor migration and protection of intellectual property and entrepreneur rights in general.
The Forum resulted in a trilateral cooperation agreement being concluded between Capital Legal Services, the Russian and Asian Alliance of Manufacturers and Businessmen and a reputable Chinese law firm Sheng Jia having over 20 years of experience and recognized as a reliable partner in China. The cooperation will enable Capital Legal Services to expand its contact network in China and to provide even more effective legal support for its Russian and Chinese clients doing business in both countries.
