Capital Legal Services to tell about new opportunities for developers
Capital Legal Services, a leading Russian law firm, will present an expert analysis of new opportunities available to developers due to planned amendments in the Land Code of the Russian Federation in 2015 in the course of the business program of the annual exhibition for commercial real estate the Commercial Lease Exchange (October 16-17, 2014, Moscow, Expocentre).
Elena Stepanova, a Partner at Capital Legal Services and head of the Real Estate and Construction Practice, will provide a report titled: “Amendments to the Land Code of the Russian Federation taking effect on March 01, 2015: Will Purchasing Land for Construction Become Easier for the Developer.” Additionally, Elena Stepanova will discuss the prospects for innovations in this field and their role in the development of the real estate market. The speech will take place during the session “Food retail: development strategies in new economic conditions,” which will be held on October 16, 2014 from 14:30 to 16:00 in pavilion No.5 of Expocentre Fairgrounds. “The Federal Law that substantially changes the current procedure for granting land parcels from the state or municipal property for construction purposes, will come into effect on March 01, 2015 and will introduce fundamentally new mechanisms for regulating land relations. Current procedure for granting public lands for construction purposes has long been in need of reform by reducing administrative barriers and excessive red tape and through the increase of transparency for the procedures used. Key developments affecting the developers’ interests and their possible effect are planned to be considered in the course of the session,” – stated Elena Stepanova, Partner at Capital Legal Services.
