He specializes in the implementation of innovative projects integrating advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions, and delivers comprehensive solutions for businesses in the field of digital transformation and regulatory compliance.

Vadim participates in the activities of the Roskomnadzor Competence Center in the area of Personal Data.

Selected Experience

• Advising a global e-commerce platform on entry into CIS markets, including preparation of recommendations in compliance with the legislation of several CIS countries regarding data center operations and import of IT equipment.
• Advising on the sale of the “Severnaya” and “Voiskovitsy” poultry farms to one of Thailand’s largest agroholdings. With a transaction value of USD 680 million, the deal ranked among the top 10 M&A transactions in Russia and was aimed at attracting new investments into the Russian food industry.
• Representing RELEX Solutions in the digital transformation project of Magnit’s supply chains and in the implementation of RELEX’s cloud-based SaaS solution for Magnit using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The project became one of the largest globally in the field of supply chain solutions.
• Legal support of an international cloud and edge solutions provider in the content delivery network (CDN) sector in a management buyout transaction of the Russian part of its business. The transaction perimeter included ensuring continuity of secure and reliable infrastructure for fintech services and SaaS online solutions in the Russian market.
• Supporting a major project to launch an international blockchain-based lending and deposit platform, including structuring the legal model and drafting loan agreements and crypto-based lending and deposit service agreements.
• Advising a British fintech company on entry into the Russian market and conducting monetary transactions between foreign jurisdictions. The project included legal assessment of the proposed business model, analysis of compliance with Russian regulatory requirements, regulation of electronic money, and KYC matters.
• Comprehensive legal support of a globally recognized leader in the production of monoclonal antibodies and antigens for the diagnostics sector on data protection matters, including analysis of the client’s activities from a data protection perspective, development of a full set of documents and policies required for compliance with Russian data protection legislation, and advising on personal data processing via the client’s website.
