On Friday, May 29, 2015, the new spacious office of Capital Legal Services welcomed representatives of leading law firms of Moscow and St. Petersburg at the Legal Success business breakfast. Jurgita Meskauskaite, an expert from Chambers & Partners, an independent global rating agency, together with representatives of leading Russian legal journals Margarita Gaskarova (chief editor at Legal Insight) and Daria Lopashenko (publishing editor at Legal Success) conducted a seminar devoted to proper positioning of a law firm and presenting the results of work within the framework of the Chambers & Partners rating.

Jurgita Meskauskaite provided topical information about the rating and responded to questions from law firm specialists who do the work on preparing information for the rating. The main question of  “What needs to be done in order to be in the Chambers & Partners rating and to achieve high positions in it?” was supplemented by a wide range of important subjects for discussion related to certain sections of the rating questionnaire, rules for submitting information, “secrets of efficiency,” etc.

The event’s guests, including associates and heads of law firm marketing departments, had a good opportunity to learn from the source the secrets of proper representation of the company and to ask about matters of concern.The format of the event presumed not only Jurgita Meskauskaite’s presentation, questions and answers, but also an unofficial part, in the course of which the participants chatted with colleagues and Jurgita and shared their experience and useful contacts. The guests of the business breakfast and speakers noted the comfortable, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and practical usefulness of the event, as well as expressed the hope to continue the practice of such meetings in the future.
