Capital Legal Services is the Russian legal advisor to Atria Group (Finland) in the sale of Pit-Product LLC (Pit-Product brand), a meat processing enterprise, to Agricultural Complex Mikhailovskiy LLC, a member of the Cherkizovo Group. The parties entered into a preliminary sale and purchase agreement, and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021.

Pit-Product LLC owns two meat processing plants located in Leningrad Region and has over 700 employees. It is one of the most advanced manufacturers of a wide range of sausage products available on the shelves of all major retail chains in the Central and North-West regions.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with Castrén & Snellman, a Finnish law frim acting as the lead legal counsel of the seller.
