Alexey Mayakov is an Of Counsel and attorney at law.
Alexey has over 25 years of experience in criminal law and process, investigative proceedings and prosecutor supervision. He worked his way up from a regular investigator to the head of the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Leningrad Region and the Chief Federal Inspector of Murmansk Region in the Office of the Authorized Representative of the Russian President in the North-Western Federal District.
Alexey is a Lieutenant General of Justice (retired). He holds state civilian ranks assigned by Decrees of the Russian President – 3rd class State Counselor of Justice (service in the Prosecutor’s Office) and 2nd class Active State Counselor of the Russian Federation (state civilian service). He is an honorary official of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and has received state and departmental awards.
Alexey focuses on criminal and law protection of business, advises on issues of internal corporate investigations of alleged offenses and criminal and law expert examination of business projects, provides legal support in the course of preliminary investigations and investigative proceedings against clients.
