For the third consecutive year, Pravo.ru-300 published a list of recommended lawyers in addition to its main rating of law firms.  This year, 10 associates of Capital Legal Services made the list.  In total, this rating notes 1048 legal advisers, including representatives of regional law firms.

Among the best Russian lawyers are:

• Pavel Karpunin, Partner, Head of the PPP and Project Finance practice, recognized in the PPP and Infrastructure Projects category, Band 1;
• Dmitry Raev, Head of Infrastructure and Project Finance Group, Moscow, recognized in the PPP and Infrastructure Projects category, Band 1;
• Julia Antipova, Head of Infrastructure and Project Finance Group, St. Petersburg, recognized in the PPP and Infrastructure Projects category, Band 1;
• Elena Stepanova, Partner, Head of the Real Estate and Construction practice, recognized in the Land Law, Commercial Real Estate and Construction category, Band 2;
• Denis Osipchuk, Principal Associate of the Real Estate and Construction practice, recognized in the Land Law, Commercial Real Estate and Construction category, Band 2;
• Irina Onikienko, Partner, Head of the Dispute Resolution practice, recognized in the Commercial Arbitration Proceedings (mid market) category, Band 2, and Dispute Resolution in General Courts category, Band 2;
• Igor Gorokhov, Principal Associate of the Dispute Resolution practice, recognized in the Commercial Arbitration Proceedings category, Band 2;
• Dmitry Churin, Partner, recognized in the Corporate Law and M&A (high market) category, Band 3;
• Vadim Kovalyov, Principal Associate of the Corporate practice, recognized in the Corporate Law and M&A (high market) category, Band 3;
• Anna Khokhlova, Senior Associate of the Antitrust practice, recognized in the Antitrust Law (including disputes) category, Band 3.

The rating researchers have noted that most of the recommended lawyers practice in corporate, commercial arbitration and bankruptcy law.

The recommended lawyers were selected based on several criteria.  They include a lawyer’s participation in major projects from September 2020 to September 2021, years of practicing law, period of experience in the law firm, and other achievements or awards.  Lawyers ranked as “recommended” are professionals who play a key role in the projects that took the highest positions in the main Pravo.ru-300 rating.
