On July 15, 2022, the Khabarovsk Bypass, the first high-speed road in the Far East Federal District to bypass the regional capital, was opened for traffic. Capital Legal Services provided support in this project as a legal advisor.

The road was built on a concession basis with the involvement of funds from the Khabarovsk Region budget and private investment money. The project was one of the first in the country to receive co-financing from the federal budget.

The Khabarovsk Bypass consists of over 27 kilometers of modern roadway, 3 bridges, 21 overpasses and 5 interchanges. Total length of the traffic infrastructure built is over 52 kilometers. The project is of strategic importance for the entire Far Eastern Federal District. The new throughway will increase the capacity of the road network by 2,000 vehicles per hour and will contribute to the creation of the Chita – Vladivostok single logistics corridor.
