Advisor Irina Akimova gives presentation at Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs conference

On August 22, 2016, the largest Russian and East Europe exhibition of auto parts, auto components, equipment and goods for servicing cars, the MIMS Automechanika Moscow, a conference was held by the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (“RASPP”).
The topic of the conference was “The Russian auto parts market for Asian companies: opportunities and prospects” and gathered representatives of Asian companies engaged in supplying auto parts that are interested in promoting their products throughout Russia.
Irina Akimova, advisor and head of the antitrust practice at Capital Legal Services gave a presentation on the topic of “Russian legislation for the Chinese partner: challenges and solutions.”
Irina's presentation was devoted to challenges Oriental partners face when entering the Russian auto parts market, and to advancing regulation on this market. The speech touched upon certain issues connected with barriers of entering the auto parts market and legal options for overcoming them.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Chinese embassy in Russia, RASPP, Analytical Agency Autostat, Transekspo and others.
