Unfair competitive practices on the market take place through various methods and means of doing business activity. Methods for protecting a business and its reputation from dissemination of false information, unlawful use of intellectual property and commercial secrets, as well as unfair product comparison, were discussed during the business breakfast held at the Moscow office of Capital Legal Services.

Denis Gavrilov, Deputy Head of Legal Directorate of the Russian Federal Antitrust Service, took part in this meeting with representatives of various business industries.

In the course of free discussion, the participants discussed cases on which they are currently working and received comments and recommendations from attorneys of Capital Legal Services. For the participants, the most critical issues were the forms of unfair competition, their qualification and verification; whether a company needs a non-disclosure regime; protection methods against competitors’ unfair actions, as well as practice of the Federal Antitrust Service in Russia.
