Capital Legal Services participates in BRICS international conference on antitrust law and policy

Irina Akimova, Of Counsel at Capital Legal Services, participated in the BRICS international conference on antitrust law and policy held in St. Petersburg on June 22-23, 2015.
The following participants took part in the conference: Igor Artemiev, Head of the Federal Antitrust Service of Russia; Frederic Jenny, Chairman of the OECD Competition Law and Policy; Norman Manoin, Chairman at the Competition Tribunal of South Africa; Dennis Davis, Judge of the Western Cape High Court, Professor at the University of Cape Town; Victor Santos Rufino, Chief Prosecutor of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense of Brazil; Alexey Ivanov, Director of Legal Policy and Social Development Department of the Skolkovo Foundation, Head of HSE-Skolkovo Institute on Law and Development; Gadis Gadgiev, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
In anticipation of the 4th BRICS Competition Conference to be held in November, the participants discussed the draft joint convention on combatting international cartels and general approaches of the competition policy in pharmaceuticals and food markets.
