Delovoy Peterburg conducted another rating “Lawyer of the Season – Summer 2015.” 

Delovoy Peterburg drew up the sixth rating of lawyers. For the first time in a year and a half, the leading position was taken not by a court dispute or conflict but transaction support.

Applications for taking part in the rating were in the form of descriptions of cases, implemented within the period from May 16 to August 31, 2015. Delovoy Peterburg took a vote among the participants of the St. Petersburg legal community.

Capital Legal Services won the vote with the M&A project headed by Dmitry Churin, on purchase by a major Thailand agricultural holding of the Severnaya and Woyskovitsy poultry factories for 680,000,000 US dollars. The transaction became one of the largest in history on the poultry market. Dmitry’s entire group was involved in the work for the client: associates Elena Lepneva, Vadim Kovalev, Anna Khaprova, Ekaterina Chernenkova and paralegals Kliment Nechaev and Evgeny Gonchenko. 

The project was found to be so interesting and large-scale that in spite of professional competition it obtained the majority of participant votes, and Dmitry was recognized Lawyer of the Season. 

The Delovoy Peterburg newspaper interviewed the winner and published the interview on September 28 on the third page of the “Rating of Lawyers” appendix, and the second page provides the TOP 10 of the rating with a brief descriptions of the cases.
