INTA’s 140th Annual Meeting, a most important event for the IP community, ended several days ago. Over 10,600 lawyers and marketing experts came to sunny Seattle from 150 countries of the world to update their knowledge, expand business contacts and, of course, meet old friends and colleagues and find new ones. Elena Berger participated in the conference for the third time. She was able to meet global IP leaders from different international companies and representatives of globally known brands, share her experience and discuss the most important issues at seminars and round tables held in the course of the conference.

The event continues to amaze with its grandeur and diverse program with an unconventional approach to organizing sessions and choosing topics to discuss. The opening ceremony included a pleasant surprises: INTA president Tish Berard played the guitar with a rock band. Elena shared her impressions about the trip and the venue: “Seattle is a very beautiful city, we got very lucky with the weather, as it was not rainy. The city is surrounded by water and mountains, which can be viewed from different locations. It is also ideal for holding a conference with over 10,000 attendees, because everything is within walking distance of the city center. This allows organizing more meetings.”
