In late September, the largest Russian educational event on Intellectual Property Rights, the IP Academy, was held at Skolkovo Technopark. During the three-day conference, leading practice experts took part in diverse panel discussions and educational modules.

The head of Intellectual Property Practice at Capital Legal Services Elena Berger was speaker of the event and shared her valuable experience on parallel import during one of the panels. The discussion, involving the representatives of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, as well as business representatives and legal consultants, was extremely passionate. At the same time, Elena Berger was not only the speaker, but also she held a workshop on unfair activity of the copyright holder in parallel import disputes in which experts discussed current approaches to this practice and its prospects.

Vladislav Shcherbatykh, lawyer at Capital Legal Services, also took part in the IP Academy.
