On June 4-7, 2015, Irina Onikienko, Partner at Capital Legal Services, represented Russia at the annual conference held by Interlaw, consolidating independent law firms from over 125 cities all over the world. According to the international rating agency Chambers & Partners, Interlaw is a leader among ratings of international and regional associations. Interlaw includes over 5,000 leading associates from different countries. Since December 2014, Capital Legal Services is the only law firm participating in Interlaw from Russia and representing two major cities of our country – Moscow and St. Petersburg.

This year, the Interlaw annual conference (EMEA region) under the common motto of “Transition – Stability” was held in Sofia – the capital of Bulgaria, and as usual had a rich program, including familiarization with peculiarities of the Bulgarian legal market, informal communication and tours to the city’s most interesting landmarks.

Considering the intense interest of the conference delegates in the dynamics of the legal market development in Russia, participation of Partner from Capital Legal Services Irina Onikienko in the event played an important role in the development of business contacts with Interlaw’s participating law firms and in providing a competent view about specifics of the legal area of our country.
