Pavel Karpunin speaks at international module “Doing Business in Russia” to students of SAIF “Leading the Future CEO Program” in Graduate School of Management SPbU

Pavel Karpunin gave a lecture in the Graduate School of Management of the St. Petersburg University in the context of regular international modules “Doing Business in Russia” held by the Graduate School together with top-tier foreign business schools from around the world.
This time, the audience of the SAIF “Leading the Future CEO Program” consisted of graduates of the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance, among which there were about 80 top managers – chairmen of boards of directors, presidents and heads of executive management of major companies of the PRC from the financial sector, real estate, biomedicine, energy industry, etc. To recap, in June 2017, Pavel Karpunin gave lectures for students of the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (China).
Pavel's lectures consist of two parts: the first part is a review of the Russian economy from the perspective of investment opportunities, the second part is immersion into the Russian legal system. A large block deals with investing in Russian PPP projects, drawing great interest of the Chinese side. According to the research of Chambers and Partners, Pavel is one of the top ten Russian lawyers in the field of PPP and has an impressive practical track record and knowledge in this field.
The program of the module includes lectures of leading lecturers of St. Petersburg University and is intended to familiarize participants with the strategy for business development in Russia, scientific technological innovations, opportunities for investments and doing business, as well as the culture and history of the country. Besides Pavel Karpunin, the following honored guests also speak at the 2017 module: Dmitry Sinkin, First Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Investments; Lev Lurie, winner of the Golden Pen Award, Antsiferov Award for works on history of St. Petersburg, and others.
