Public-private partnership. Power and business two-way traffic

Capital Legal Services experts Pavel Karpunin and Dmitry Raev spoke at an expanded meeting of the PPP committee of the non-profit organization OPORA RUSSIA.
OPORA is a platform for dialogue between leaders of small and medium business with representatives of the authorities and regulatory agencies.
Within the framework of the session “Public-Private Partnership. Power and business two-way traffic” Pavel and Dmitry delivered a lecture titled “Features of implementing PPP projects in Russia.” Such issues as the current state of PPP, features of PPP projects in Russia and issues of state regulation were considered.
Our colleagues also held the seminar “Legal framework for structuring PPP projects,” during which they discussed options for structuring PPP projects and the main agreement schemes.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of investment projects on the basis of a concession agreement (COP) and an agreement on public-private partnership (PPP).
Colleagues discussed the essential conditions of these agreements and the procedure for their financing, risks and guarantees of interests of the parties, including amendments to and termination of the agreements. Successful PPP projects implemented by Capital Legal Services were used as examples.
