Vladislav Zabrodin, Managing Partner of Capital Legal Services, participated in the Annual Law Firm Management Conference of the International Bar Association (IBA) on October 21, 2014 in Tokyo. The session was held in a creative format of World Café – several round tables for the participants discussing topical issues of the program. The discussion of the issues on particular needs of the clients, using experience of colleagues from non-legal industries, the “added value” in client services, etc. aroused considerable interest.
“I see the innovative format of the event proposed by the organizers as being more efficient for discussing issues such as law firm management. The informal atmosphere creates opportunities not only for a real-life discussion and exchange of opinions, but for developing new ideas in the course of collaboration. Now are the times of tough competition, prompt decisions, mobilization of resources and areas not used before, development of new approaches and methods for cooperation with the clients. “Added value” is a key concept in building a successful strategy in such a situation. The clients assess each detail and the prospects of collaboration very carefully, so it is important not only to develop an optimal proposal for the client, but to create for it the opportunity to succeed and outperform its competitors thanks to collaboration with the legal advisor,” – noted Vladislav Zabrodin, Managing Partner of Capital Legal Services.
