Paul Supramaniam is Senior Counsel at CLS and the Chairman of Law Asia. He has led numerous cross border mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, privatizations, joint ventures and private equity investments in several Asian jurisdictions including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Philippines.

Mr. Supramaniam is ranked in “International Who’s Who Legal” as one of the world’s leading M&A lawyers, in Chambers Global as an M&A “leading expert” in South East Asia, in “Asia Pacific Legal 500” as a leading practitioner and in “PLC 2009” as one of the top M&A lawyers in the region.

Mr. Supramaniam sits on the Singapore British Business Council, on the Board of the Singapore Lyric Opera and the Steering Committee of the National Art Gallery. He is a former President of the Singapore United Kingdom Association, a former Vice-President of the British Chamber of Commerce, a former Executive Committee member of the Singapore India Development Agency (SINDA) and was formerly on the Boards of the Asian Civilisations Museum, Save The Children Singapore and the Judicial Court for the Anglican Province of South East Asia. Mr. Supramaniam is also a Senior Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Mr. Supramaniam was for a number of years Senior English Partner Asia at Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Supramaniam is a limited partner in the largest private equity house in Cambodia and also a senior advisor to a leading international private equity fund.
