Roman Fridlender is a Senior Associate of the Litigation practice at Capital Legal Services.
For over 5 years, Roman has been representing clients in general jurisdiction, commercial arbitration and international commercial arbitration courts. Roman also specializes in settling disputes out of court and challenging the cadastral value of real estate.
In the course of work in the company, Roman has implemented a number of significant projects, including successful representation in the Russian Supreme Court in a case on challenging a creditor’s transactions, leading to the Supreme Court annulling the decisions of lower court and referring the case for re-examination.
Furthermore, Roman represented a major Turkish airline in a dispute with the Russian Federal Security Service, and a major global manufacturer of drugs and medical equipment in a series of cases on debt collection.
Roman is actively engaged in research and educational activities: he was a supervisor of the Moscow State University’s team during Masters’ Games – a legal championship among students, and took part in several bankruptcy law conferences.
Roman writes articles on bankruptcy topics and is a lecturer for the Bankruptcy of Business Entities course at the Legal Regulation Department of Higher School of Economics.
