Environmental fee and expanded responsibility for manufacturers

The CLS team provides support for manufacturers and importers of products from various industries, including building materials, polymer products, interior goods, consumer goods and packaging solutions, on issues related to the obligation to pay an environmental fee and the fulfillment of duties under the extended responsibility of manufacturers.

Such projects include analysis of goods nomenclature, foreign trade goods codes (TN VED), comparison of goods and packaging with current lists, assessment of applicability of exceptions, legal qualification of products as finished goods, packaging, materials or components, as well as preparation of memos on disputed categories of goods.

A separate area of work is providing support for claims work and interaction with regulatory authorities, including analysis of judicial and administrative practice, the development of a legal position and recommendations to minimize the risk of claims from Rosprirodnadzor.
