Advising a large Japanese law firm on personal data processing in the Republic of Belarus and in Russia

The CLS team provided advice on the legal requirements of the Republic of Belarus and their correlation with the OECD Guidelines on protection of privacy and cross-border transfer of personal data, as well as compared individual requirements of the law of the Republic of Belarus with the laws of the Russian Federation and China, including localization of personal data, use of national domain names and other issues.
