Advising a major global manufacturer of cars and trucks on personal data protection issues

The CLS team supported the client on all issues related to personal data protection in the client's activities in Russia. When working on the project, CLS associates needed to analyze the risks of collecting and processing personal data through the system of Russian dealers. In order to eliminate risks for the client and ensure that the entire process meets the requirements of Russian laws, the CLS team developed a special data processing agreement between the client and its Russian dealers, as well as prepared a consent form for data processing used in relations with end users in Russia.
