Development of a legal framework for cross-border transfer of personal data for a global leader in production of power equipment, aerospace systems and industrial machinery

The global nature of the client's business involves intensive exchange of data, including employee data, with the head office and other divisions of the group around the world. CLS team developed a legal framework for the client in which the processing of personal data meets both the requirements of Federal Law “On personal data” and the corporate standards of the group of companies. Special attention was paid to building a legally proper system for international exchange of personal data within the group of companies, taking into account the strict requirements of Russian laws and the specifics of labor relations with employees performing tasks both in the Russian Federation and abroad.
