Successful defense of interests of a large construction company in a dispute with the Government of St. Petersburg

The Government of St. Petersburg for its own purposes mistakenly seized from our client a plot of land intended for construction of a building. After 7 years of futile attempts to reach an agreement, the client decided to challenge the inaction of the authorities in court. Thanks to the work of CLS associates, the court recognized the Government's actions as illegal and ordered the defendant to provide the land plot in favor of our client. This decision was upheld in the courts of appeal and cassation instances and has been enforced. We protected not only the interests of the client, but also of 28 shareholders waiting for the construction to be completed.
