Legal support for a gold mining company with issues of approval of the technical design for development of a deposit

The CLS team provided support for a gold mining company on issues of obtaining approval for the technical design for development of a deposit and eliminating regulatory risks associated with discrepancies in the results of the pilot development stage.

CLS developed a strategy for further actions, with several working scenarios, including finalizing the design for re-submission to the authorized Rosnedra commission, adjusting the approach to the backup base and developing a legal position for interaction with government agencies. This allowed the client to assess the reasons for potential denial, reduce the risk of a second rejection of the design documentation and to make an informed decision on further development of the deposit.
