Protection of exclusive rights of clients under a license agreement for creation of a film

CLS represented the interests of individuals who own exclusive rights to a literary work that were violated during the shooting and demonstration of a film made on its basis. CLS associates analyzed the terms of contracts concluded by the clients, as well as actions performed by all participants of legal relations.

The analysis took into account the norms of both Russian and US laws, since resolution of the situation affected both jurisdictions. The result of this work was the development of a step-by-step strategy for protecting the interests of our clients and payment of compensation to them for violation of their rights.
