Agreement signed to build Omsk-Fyodorovka airport by 2028

On June 6, 2024, in the course of the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Governor of Omsk Region and the General Director of Airports of Regions Management Company signed a concession agreement on creation of the new Omsk-Fyodorovka airport in Omsk Region. The concessionaire Omskaeroinvest LLC (part of the Airports of Regions group) was determined by a resolution of the Russian Government.
Under the agreement, the concessionaire will create a modern airport complex in Omsk Region, planned for commissioning in 2028. The airport will allow for both international and domestic air travel and will be able to welcome a greater number of passengers and cargo than the current Omsk airport. The volume of investments in the project is assessed at 40 billion rubles.
The CLS team provided comprehensive legal support for the concessionaire at all stages of the project. Among other tasks, CLS lawyers developed the draft concession agreement and ensured support for the concessionaire in the course of negotiations with the grantor on the text of the concession agreement.
