Support of a syndicate of Russian banks in the framework of financing the construction of an airport and reconstruction of the airport terminal complex of international/domestic airlines of the international airport at Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo)

The project is being implemented as part of a large-scale airport development program, the key source of financing for which is funds provided by a syndicate of major Russian lenders VEB.RF and Sberbank.

The CLS team provided support services to the syndicate of lenders in the framework of financing the project, including the preparation of addenda to the syndicated loan agreement, surety agreements, pledge agreements, as well as prepared legal memos regarding validity and enforceability of transactions and on the legal capacity and powers of the parties. Additionally, CLS lawyers provided legal advice to the client on procedural issues of state registration of mortgages and on annulling mortgage registration records in relation to real estate.
