CLS in China: a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation

On October 1, a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation was concluded between CLS and the Pilot Free Trade Zone of the Xiamen Area Administrative Committee of China (Fujian).

October 1 – a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation was concluded between CLS and the Pilot Free Trade Zone of the Xiamen Area Administrative Committee of China (Fujian). The Pilot Free Trade Zone in China is a special territory where international economic and trade standards are tested. In the city of Xiamen, such a zone has existed since 2015 and covers four areas: government services, financial services, legal services, and human resources services. Within the legal services sector, the "Maritime Silk Road" Center operates, helping to strengthen commercial ties between China and the BRICS countries. The partnership with the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone not only provides CLS with access to the BRICS trade integration platform but also opens up opportunities for cooperation with Chinese clients. Among other things, plans include organizing legal forums, training sessions, and business events jointly with local law firms. This agreement allows all of us to become part of China’s international "Belt and Road" initiative – China’s largest project aimed at creating three economic corridors connecting 148 countries. The signed memorandum gives our clients access to new business connections, creates more opportunities for successfully entering the Chinese market, and for implementing international projects. Our team will be happy to help you plan your activities and develop in new markets.
