Comprehensive legal support on a turn-key basis for a construction of Aviapark, the largest European shopping center located in Moscow (approx. 500 tenants, total area approx. 400,000 sq.m)

Legal support for lease projects in retailing, including negotiation and execution of lease agreements with tenant companies in a shopping and entertainment center in the Moscow Region with a total area of 90,000 sq.m. and approximately 125 tenants;

Legal support for lease projects in retailing, including negotiation and execution of lease agreements with tenant companies in a major shopping and entertainment center in Kaliningrad Region with a leasable area of approximately 60,000 sq.m. and approximately 160 tenants.

Conducted a detailed analysis of clean title with regard to land plots located in 12 regions of the Russian Federation, for the purpose of land acquisition by an international leader in small-scale wholesale trade for the construction of multi-functional shopping centers. The analysis allowed to determine the legal concept of title acquisition for the aforementioned land plots and to assess their suitability for the relevant construction purposes.

Conducted a due diligence investigation for one of the world’s largest retailers of 600 properties throughout Russia, including buildings, premises and land plots to determine their compliance with all applicable requirements of Russian real estate law and with requirements for licenses and permits.

Provided a range of legal services with regard to construction of Moscow’s largest shopping and entertainment mall (area exceeding 500,000 sq.m). The scope of the project included drafting a contract agreement for design, build & turnkey based on a FIDIC standard form (Orange Book), drafting maintenance agreements, as well as development of a leasing policy and lease agreements for the mall under construction.

Lead Counsel to major European developer constructing a shopping and entertainment center in St. Petersburg (over 110,000 sq.m.) and an outlet center in the Moscow Region (38,000 sq.m.). In the course of the projects our team successfully coordinated the terms and conditions for leasing premises in shopping malls currently under construction on terms most favorable and secure for the Client.

Provided legal support for an international property investment fund in the acquisition of real estate in the historical center of St. Petersburg for building a shopping and business center and advisory services to the foreign banking syndicate financing the project.

Advised on all legal aspects of completing an investment project by an international leading retailer to construct a multi-function retail shopping center in Sochi.

Provided legal services to one of the Ministries of the Russian Federation with the largest portfolio of real estate assets in the country on the preparation for sale and the sale of selected facilities.

Conducted a due diligence investigation for a chain of fast food restaurants and prepared related legal opinions and development of plans for the acquisition of title to the sites and restaurants.

Provided legal support of an investment project to construct and operate a wood processing plant in Leningrad Oblast for one of the largest international furniture manufacturing companies.

Provided legal support for an investment project of an international industrial group to construct an industrial complex in Novgorod Region.

Provided legal coordination of the implementation of an investment project by one of the leading European retail networks aimed at constructing a new shopping center in Krasnodar.

Successfully represented one of the largest European construction companies in a series of court proceedings arising out of contractor agreements.

Successfully defended clients' interests in court disputes related to the use of retail and commercial real estate, including disputes over the conclusion, performance, and termination of lease agreements.

Successful protection of the client’s interests in a dispute with the owner of an adjacent land plot, which built a road on the client’s land plot without permission.
