On June 1, 2016, the St. Petersburg Business Association (SPIBA) jointly with Capital Legal Services held an open event – a round table on the topic “The stages and practical measures to ensure the sustainable operation and development of engineering and energy complex of St. Petersburg”

Today, June 6, 2016, with participation of Pavel Karpunin, Partner at Capital Legal Services, the Agency for Economic Development of Leningrad Region (AERLO) hosted a meeting between a delegation from the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Committee  with its Chairman Mr. Shen Xiaochu and representatives of the Government of Leningrad Region.

On May 27, 2016 Ekaterina Rudova, Principal Associate at Capital Legal Services, presented a report titled “Review of the draft law on reform of legal regulation of major transactions and interested-party transactions” at the АЕВ Legal Committee (Moscow).

The participants of the meeting discussed the most critical issues financial organizations face as regards antitrust regulation of their activity. 

The Managing Partner of Capital Legal Services Vladislav Zabrodin acted as a moderator of the discussion “Luxury Goods Market. BRUKing news” which was dedicated to prospects of developing the Luxury market segment in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Khazakhstan.

On March 15, 2016, a team of associates from the Dispute Resolution practice at Capital Legal Services, headed by Partner Irina Onikienko, successfully ended a court dispute concerning claims of a passenger against an airline on full refund of ticket cost based on an international air transport agreement. The firm protected interests of one of the largest holding airlines in Europe and worldwide.

Last Friday, February 5, 2016, a road show for the project on the Khabarovsk bypass highway took place in Moscow. 

The governor of Khabarovsk Region, Vyacheslav Shport, introduced the project to Russian and foreign investors and spoke about its features, goals and specifics of implementation.

On October 12, 2015, Rimma Tolmacheva, Senior Associate at Capital Legal Services, spoke as an expert on infrastructure projects at a parliamentary hearing on the topic of “Prospects and practical aspects of implementing Federal Law No.224-FZ ‘On public-private partnership and municipal-private partnership in the Russian Federation and on amending certain regulatory acts of the Russian Federation.’” Rimma’s speech was part of a discussion of the prospects for activating investment activity and attracting private investments into the Russian economy.
